Visit the Lavenham village website
Lavenham is the finest surviving medieval village in England; "one of the seven wonders of Suffolk" is how the BBC described it.
There are a wealth of attractions, including the magnificent Guildhall, nearby Little Hall and one of England's finest parish churches; in addition to the unique streets of medieval buildings and an eclectic collection of shops. There are some excellent restaurants including The Great House, The Angel and the Swan Hotel and too many teashops to mention. Visit the village website by clicking on the image opposite for a foretaste of what to expect.
